More on the DMC DJ Championships:

Established in 1985 by the founder of the Disco Mix Club (DMC), Tony Prince, the DMC World DJ Championships is the longest running, most prestigious global DJ competition. The DMC is often lovingly referred to as the "Olympics of DJs" where contestants step-up in attempts to cement their place in history by advancing through competitions regionally, nationally and later on the world stage. Notable DMC World Champion alumni include the likes of A-Trak (Fools Gold), DJ Q-Bert, Mix Master Mike (Beastie Boys) and Grand Master Roc Raida.
