CDJ Show 2016 Guest - Ryan Kruger


Ryan Kruger is the President of the newly formed RKET Group (Ryan Kruger Entertainment & Talent Group), a division of Destiny Events and Canada's premier consulting agency for all things electronic dance. Current assignments include oversight of Special Projects for SFX Live Entertainment in North America, global production of the exclusive Further Future festival series and operation of all Destiny Events projects in Toronto. Prior to forming the agency, Ryan ran the dance music division of Live Nation Canada where he created and ran the Digital Dreams Music Festival and Brrrrr! Winter Music Festival in Toronto and helped create the IleSoniq Music Festival in Montreal. Ryan was also behind numerous large scale electronic events in Toronto's premier venues including 2014’s sold out AVICII performance at The Rogers Center and sold out Armin Only event at the Metro Toronto Convention Center. Prior to joining Live Nation, Kruger founded and ran Destiny Events in Toronto, one of North America’s longest running independent electronic event producers. Destiny was responsible for hundreds of electronic events from 1993 to the present, ranging in size from 300 to 30,000 people and is the organization behind nearly two decades of the World Electronic Music Festival (WEMF). Beyond being the longest running electronic event producer in Canada, Kruger also founded and ran Destiny's Artistic Management Network (DAMN! DJs) and served as president for the largest student focused event travel company, Breakaway Tours. Kruger holds an MBA from the prestigious Schulich School of Management at York University in Toronto and is the proud father of twin boys.
